I don't keep up with Facebook status updates, because it'd be impossible to do, but happened to catch yours at the top of the page when last logging on...

Well, congratulations on this first step... I'll congratulate you more once you've _really_ run the race. ]:)

I won't say "so fun!", like some others, because I know it'll actually just be a lot of hard work, aherm... ]:D

Think of all that volleyball and poker you'll miss; all those gripping Bachelors/Bachelorettes you'll no longer have the energy to keep up with; or any other TV series, for that matter.

Changes... wow... I can't picture it... But I couldn't picture Pooch, either, and that's a reality, so this... well, just wow...

It _will_ be great. And there will even be some fun. Lots of it, actually. :D

I also know you will teach it well and make us all proud.

(If you end up needing someone to drop it off with, for that extended vacation, after several years, when you realize if you don't get a break _now_, you never will, think of me. Actually, I extend that to all my child-ed friends -- just give me lots of advance notice. Might as well make myself useful in some way, with everybody else's, eh? :D )
