Moving

I don't think I mentioned on here, yet, that we're moving, but I've told basically everybody in person -- everybody I'm in more real-time-ish contact with, that is...

Yep, it happened. Here we thought we were getting through all these changes largely unscathed (on the non-personal plane), when the landlord told us he was selling this (huge) house. Fun-fun! So, suddenly, we found ourselves in the spot everybody else seems to be in: a time of major change. We didn't start doing anything about it until a little over a month ago. Well, I personally began doing plenty, in my head, but when things aren't really under your control, there's not much you can do besides wait... :)

So, finally, plans got put in motion, all very suddenly. Basically, within about 2 months we've decided how to move, where to go and we WILL be moved.

I should've been taking videos and pictures of the house all this time, but here's a video from a week ago, to give you an idea of the general condition of the place:



Things are pretty chaotic. Well, we aren't home all day, so I'm sure we're not seeing the half of it. :) But it'll be good when it's all settled. I still can't believe I won't be sleeping in my own bed a week from now. It hasn't settled in. And then it'll happen so quickly -- in a day -- it won't have time to settle slowly. Erk!

We might survive.
