The dance

Since people stare at me, so much, I figure I might as well give them something to look at: Give'em their money's worth, Ange! Come on! Do it for the people! For the love of the people!! So I've taken to breaking into dance whenever a particularly catchy tune comes on, in a store. My favorite tunes to break out to are the ever-so-popular Nobody Nobody and Sorry Sorry. I'm getting so good at dancing to these ones, that I even start singing them out loud in small stores directly before they happen to start playing overhead. Is that sheer ESP talent or what!! If I can get a grin out of at least one person, it's worth it. If the people in the store are primarily middle-age-ish, I don't usually get much of a grin. But it's alright, we can't please everybody. If you want to try this at home, I've found it's particularly effective to be clothed in black boots, black leggings, long gray woolen top, blank trench coat, and soft bun with bling in hair. This -- as Joy put it "Ange, you look so elegant" -- look is so contrary to the vision of a random stranger breaking into goofy dance, that the effect is quite as perfect as it will ever get.
