Pray for Bobby

Bobby is a man I met on a bus. He's somewhat "super-sized" and having health problems. He's trying to get a better job and situation, but every time he goes where he needs to go in order to do this, his health problems flare up, which sends him straight back home, where the doctor says he's fine, so he returns and gets sick again, and so on. He's pretty discouraged and we had a good talk about the Lord sometimes using tests and trials to change us or draw us closer to Him, or He gives us a "thorn in the flesh" that keeps us close to Him all our lives. Or maybe it isn't the Lord's will for him to be seeking this other opportunity and he needs to find out what His will is. We also talked about practical things one can do to be healthier and do our part, so the Lord can heal us, etc.

Anyway, I prayed with him on the spot, mostly asking Jesus to give Bobby complete faith and trust in Him, so that He can do the miracles He wants to do. Please pray for him and his relations with his family.--And for him to find the Lord's will. After answering his questions about how we live/work, he was like, "Maybe I should do something like that - it sounds fulfilling and worthwhile." So you never know what the Lord has in store for him.

There are a lot of you on my "here's my blog" mailing list, so even if everyone prays for him just once, that'll make a huge difference, I'm sure. :)
