People say and do the funniest things! I wish I was clever enough to observe and capture them, in writing, for the edification (or at least insane amusement) of all. I'm just too distracted by my own brain to listen and observe enough to remember. And then there's the time factor. And the mood factor. And...
Too many obstacles.
Although I'd never be the fiction-writing sort, maybe I could capture moments that somehow strike my fancy, whether in a good or bad way, and translate them into writing. It'd have to be short, otherwise never having time to say it all combined with the ever-illusive writing mood would turn my intentions into cotton candy in an afternoon shower.
But to create good habits you have to shoot the gun and signal the start at _some_ point. So here's that point.
(Note: Names removed or altered, because, considering sooo many people are sooo weird, these days, about having their picture/video taken, I'm guessing they also don't like having their names revealed, in someone's random writings.)

SLUT (Hear me out!!)
A few of us met up for some relief-from-reality time, via conversation and drinks. Before Mathilda and I left, a couple more people showed up. We had a little catch-up time, a bit of banter, and this story came out...
Beep was going to a party and her contribution/responsibility was to take some wires for the set-up. She showed up at the party without the wires, having completely forgotten about her task, which left some people very unimpressed. I didn't hear the exact run of events, but somehow Beep ended up throwing a bit of a fit and Buup sent her a text reprimanding her for it. Beep laughed about the reprimand and showed it to Boop, who proceeded to reprimand Buup:
"You can tell her what you think, but you don't have to call her a slut!"
Some confusion, with the result being the realization that the phone was set to a non-English language, in which language, "slut" means end, so, logically, the "end" of the message was signaled with a clear "slut".
Okay, it sounds much more funny-er over beer, with a laughing-due-to-exhaustion group, and I'm sure I missed vital/key/accurate facts, but you get the gist.
Picture it. It's pretty hilarious. :D
