Hallelujah

Well, to continue on with the song-writing tradition, had to do one for the ending of our beautiful (aherm) Towers Home... You know the tune. Sing it with all your heart! In a praise-full fashion! Amen! :D

---

Now I’ve heard there was a monstrous Home
Up on a hill and strong as Rome…
I didn’t really know the story… Do ya?

Well, it goes like this: In 2006
13 debonairs and country hicks
Procured a house for which folks might eschew ya.

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelu-u-jah!

With varied ministries and chores;
A life of thrills, not many bores;
8 single ladies with their charms to woo ya.

There were multitudes of tiny tots;
People at Towers found “the hots”,
And lack of money didn’t even chew ya.

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelu-u-jah!

So, now you hit a time of change:
Your Home’s no longer on the range --
You may not notice all that we know’s due ya.

You’ve given years, you’ve given lives;
You’ve toughed it out through lows-like-hives:
For all of this we sure merci beaucoup ya.

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelu-u-jah!

There are glorious heights to reach for now --
Even if you don’t know kung pow --
The Enemy would never dare kung fu ya.

So here we go, a 3-2-1 --
Are you ready now, oh, everyone!
Please leave this place before the walls mildew ya!

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelu-u-jah!
