I've dubbed this trip "the Thai shopping experience". I'm not actually doing any personal shopping, but I've definitely seen all the places where one SHOULD shop, so if you ever need any info, let me know. Or contact Ia: she'll be your friendly tour guide and trip planner. :) Next time I'm in Thailand, it will HAVE to be the crocodiles and the elephants and hopefully there won't be rioters to avoid.
So we looked for shoes. We also stopped for a bite to eat at a place where a meal was quite a bit more expensive: 3 dollars, instead of 1 -- gasp! The ambiance more than made up for such a high expense. :) It was pleasant.
Then we picked up a couple ladies from another Home (where I got to meet all these faces I previously knew only by name) and drove to the movies, at the discounted Wednesday price.
Jesus loves us. :)
This is for Ia's benefit (thank you, Iaaa):

Amen???:

I'd really like to know, sir, what would constitute "improper use":

Happy people at "biergarten":

We were trying to get the statue in the back:

Everybody!:

Paul's food arrives first -- chicken and basil:

Then we met another statue:

Doing some kind of Taiwanese-based dance (I'm sure!) before heading back to the table:

Then Faith's food arrives:

--And fiiinally ours -- they need to work on their timing:

The very useful toilet options at the restaurant:

Hey, Branham! Look what the cat dragged in!! :D :

Free transport, if one desires it:

Ia and Zorro:

Zorro assumes a very odd pose:
