Avatar in 3D

I wouldn't say it's a must-see, but it's definitely a must-see if in 3D; or, if going to see and 3D is an option, must be seen in 3D.

The CGI parts are amazing (in 3D). The Navi were perfect in 3D, as were the outpost office screens and the through-glass views. :D I was so impressed with the attention they put into detail. Yes-yes, I know it's all computers doing it and such, but somebody still has to decide what to select and which elements to 3D-ize in certain scenes, how to put it all together, check for errors, etc. Do you know how much work and detail that is?! (Ange thinks of wannabe-3D effects on Grandpa Jake DVD cases and how difficult it is to get just that right, at production.) So there. :)--And, although, a few days ago, I was convinced I needed one of these wetsuits for any water sports endeavors I might embark upon:

See it

I know, now, it should be a Navi second-skin.

The non-violent forest scenes drew me in, entertained me and put me in a happy place: all that nature and the soft lights and the fantasy and imagery... Sigh... I'm a closet tree-hugger.

--And I don't think they should make anymore parts. That would just be lame.

Unless I see it in 3D.
