7.8125%
6.25%
4.6875%
That may not seem like much variance, but if my great-great-uncle has an inkling of care for accuracy, he will care about these possible variances in results for his ancestral account:
62.5%
50%
37.5%
All that say, Craig, maybe you had something there when you said I look American Indian. Hahaha.
Right.
Well, at least these Indian-ish calculations make more (mathematical) sense than my usual "I'm 1/2 Brasilian (Mother: Brasilian), 1/2 Italian (Mother: 1/2 Italian, Father 1/2 Italian) AND 1/2 American (Father: American)". Tricksy, eh? (Yes, yes, I _am_ half Italian: numerous people have been proven wrong when arguing this point with me. Add it up...)
Anyway, it's interesting to have a such a famous (sure-sure) ancestor with such exotic-ness to mix things up, whose data one can attempt to research (the amount of info on him on the great, grand inter-webs, now, compared to 2 years ago, is amazing and has grown at an extremely high/surprising/quick rate).
We even managed to find the money that had his likeness on it, while in Brasil -- I just so happened to remember the value and currency he showed up on, so we could locate it in the money-selling shop (yes, Brasilian money has changed that much, since the early 90s: changed names, lost 0s, and all that good stuff).
No, Spike, you may not steal him from my wall:
This influence in my ancestry definitely explains my pacifist bent ("I can't kill people, even in computer games!!"): "Morrer se preciso for, matar nunca!"
Oh, English (literally): "Die, if need be; kill, never!" [Marechal Rondon]
Exactly.
:)
