Run: Day 18

Distance.

Took me 1:11:11 (fancy, huh?) to get to the Danshui MRT station water fountain. Thirsty!

It's a lot of downhill and some flat stretches, a couple small uphills. Not sure how far that is, but everyone thinks it's a couple k over 10k. Anyway, the point was distance and endurance and it was a good goal.

I'm not so good at distance and I don't have the mental power to keep me engaged for long, but I much prefer downhill to anything else, so with that kind of option, it was good. Threw in a few bursts of nearly-fast-est downhill, to keep things challenging -- focused on best form for downhill, too, during those spurts. Was good. Had to walk, mostly, once hitting the intersection, because of the traffic and stoplights.

Anyway, good run! Must do again and give myself more time to relax on the riverfront, in the sun... once done.
