For all you guys who looove to remind us of that "women, know your limits" word of advice, I point you to this verse, which we read in devotions, the other day:
"As a bird that wandereth from her nest, so is a man that wandereth from his place." (Proverbs 27:8)
So, just stay in your place and don't wander the way you do. Amen? AMEN!! Haha.
I also found this verse very feeding, nearly quite literally, as well as most useful if I were still proffering that "Hot Tips for Maintaining Your Hips" column (you who should take note know who you are!!):
"And thou shalt have goats' milk enough for thy food, for the food of thy household, and for the maintenance for thy maidens." (Proverbs 27:27)
I just love how that reference is 27:27 -- there must be some significance.
--And 4 is a bad number, here: it's the same character (or sound?) for "death".

You're taking that verse completely OUT of context! The verse is very applicable to this female chauvinist world we live in. Nowadays the women are forcing the men to do such things as washing the laundry, cleaning the room, cooking meals, and changing diapers. So this verse is an admonition for us men to not "wander" from our God given rights to be the head of the house, to drink beer, to be the head of the house, to drink beer, and to be the head of the house. Amen. Selah.
ReplyDeleteWell, as you can see, your cleverness has left me speechless (aherm?!), but I was glad to see you stayed in your place (on the soccer field), that you took the wifey along and that I stayed in my place, with the tender Shobarrree and his merry sleepytime routine. :)
