Life's one big party?! :O

Well, when it rains it pours. Or after a dry spell, you get a really rainy one. Or something... deep...

So, we had a week of super intense meetings. (I figured out that the reason they were so much more intense than usual for me, as the note-taker, was that usually people repeat themselves and each other and you can generally space out a bit, as you don't have to type a point that's being repeated. But this group was so efficient that they never -- well, extremely rarely -- repeated themselves or each other and since I was taking running notes, that meant the typing and tuning-in was constant, for each full day. Ack! It was good, though.--And good that it's over.) During that week and at the end of it, we did a few recreational things, but when you're trying to cram in missed regular work, regular Home duties, etc., during the hours you're not attending meetings, it gets kind of intense. So, needless to say, my first day after all that was over was extremely productive as far as plowing through my regular work went.--And Shelah exclaims, "I have billions of emails from you!" Heh. Oh well... PTL... :D

So, to make up for that one really productive day, I, of course, had to have a super unproductive weekend, in the work arena. Well, I did work enough, but I had intended to work much more than that. God and others, however, had very different plans for me...

First of all, someone had to skip a hot pot dinner they'd been invited to with the son of our printer and a work associate, so I took their place (more about that later).

Then, I was invited to a wedding that a friend and former Home member was invited to -- since their Home couldn't fill the two tables and 20 seats, a bunch of us went from here (more on that later, too).

Then, that night I was invited to a birthday party for Dan (of Katrina), whom I knew and was good friends with in Hungary.

Then, today I tried a bunch of new things while out with Hik and Angel (and Kreekee -- what a good team we make, heh).

Then, this evening some of us played Phase 10.

--And now I can't sleep from so much wired-ness. :D

So much new-ness in the space of only 3 days -- I will die of improvements and new-ness, haha.

Anyway, all that to say, we work hard, we play hard, we work hard again and I guess that's the cycle of life.

It's good to be fully employed in a life of service for God and others.

It's also good to be fully rewarded in that service.

Woohoo!
